Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods over short and long distances in a safe, timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate sprinter van- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle
Skills:
- Experience in commercial driving, preferably as a delivery driver or courier- Ability to handle heavy lifting and operate a forklift- Proficient in navigating routes and following directions- Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and clients- Familiarity with different types of trucks such as box trucks and moving vans
