Responsibilities
Clean and stock line to ensure an efficient servicePrepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely mannerFollow recipes, controls, portion and presentation specifications as set by the restaurantFollow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishesMaintain high standard and consistency of food quality and presentationMaintain in-depth knowledge of nutrition, common allergies, dietary restrictions and food terminologyHandle, store and rotate all food products to maintain freshnessPrepare prep listsTrack and report food wasteStock inventoryKnife skills and ability to operate kitchen equipment requiredMaintain clean and orderly service areas and complete side work dutiesComply with established safety and sanitation standardsAdhere to company policies and standard proceduresQualifications:
Able to work in a high energy and fast paced work environmentAble to perform quality work efficiently with minimal supervisionRequires a good sense of prioritization and organizational skillsAble to multi-task while maintaining a sense of urgencyAccuracy and high attention to detailAble to project a friendly and helpful attitudeAble to work as part of a TeamDemonstrate honesty and integrityMust be dependable and timelyAble to work a flexible scheduleWeekends, holidays and evenings requiredHigh standard of personal appearance and hygienePossess a clear understanding of weights and measuresPossess knowledge of safe food-handling, sanitary kitchen conditions and proper hand washing techniquesSkills:
Able to lift 30-50 lbs.Able to stand, walk, lift, twist and bend for up to 8 hours a dayExperience Level: 2 – 3 years
Pay Type: Hourly Pay: $18.00 – $24.00
