Job Description:The Clerical Warehouse Worker is responsible for performing administrative and clerical duties in a warehouse environment. This role helps maintain the organization, accuracy, and efficiency of warehouse operations by assisting with documentation, inventory management, shipping and receiving tasks, and supporting warehouse staff.
Key Responsibilities:Inventory Management:
Record and update stock levels in warehouse inventory systems.Maintain accurate records of received and shipped items.Assist with stock audits and inventory counts.Data Entry and Record Keeping:
Input data regarding orders, shipments, returns, and customer information into warehouse management software.File and maintain physical and digital documents related to inventory, shipments, and product details.Shipping & Receiving Support:
Assist with the preparation of shipping labels and documentation for outgoing orders.Monitor and track incoming shipments, ensuring correct items and quantities are received.Order Processing:
Prepare and process orders for shipment, including generating packing slips, invoices, and other required documents.Communicate with warehouse staff to ensure orders are filled accurately and on time.Communication and Coordination:
Act as a liaison between the warehouse and other departments, including sales, procurement, and customer service.Respond to inquiries about orders, inventory, or shipments.General Office Support:
Assist with general office duties such as answering phones, preparing correspondence, and filing documents.Organize and maintain clerical supplies and materials needed for warehouse operations.Quality Control:
Ensure that orders are packaged and shipped according to quality standards.Report any discrepancies or issues to the warehouse supervisor.
