Job Details:✔ Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)✔ Schedule: Monday – Friday (Must be available for overtime)✔ Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire✔ Pay Rate: $24 - $26 per hour
Position Overview:The Spot Welder is responsible for setting up and operating spot welding equipment while ensuring high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:? Weld or tack-weld overlapping edges of sheet metal components.? Position clamp electrodes under workpieces to ensure proper alignment.? Apply electrodes at specified weld points, completing the circuit for heating metal to joining temperature.? Adjust equipment for automatic timing of current as needed.? Inspect welded components for defects and ensure quality standards are met.? Maintain a clean and safe work environment.? Attend group training for new or modified tasks.? Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:✔ Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a Welder.✔ Skills: Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding.✔ Language: English proficiency is required; Spanish is a plus but not mandatory.
