We are “Miyako japanese restaurant “ located in ocean blvd Santa Monica, currently looking for a full-time sushi chef or assistant. Details are as follows:
Job Responsibilities
• Fish preparation: filleting, cutting, and making sushi ingredients.• Preparing sushi orders as required.• Training available for candidates willing to learn fish preparation.
Work Hours
• Operating hours: 10:45 AM - 9:00 PM (2-hour break in the afternoon).• Full-time position with long-term stability preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
• $20/hour. +tips • Free lunch included.• Opportunities for growth and advancement for excellent performance.
Job Requirements
1. 1-2 years of relevant experience.2. Must have a car and reliable transportation.3. Basic English communication skills preferred.4. Must follow instructions and assist the head chef in completing tasks.5. responsible, detail-oriented, and careful in work.6. Candidates with a valid work permit (work card) will be given priority.
